With an extensive range of technical study and experience, Tobias completed Certificate 4 & Diploma of Sound Production and has 5 years of field experience in Live Sound for Music and Speaking events. He has also tutored fellow Sound Production students.

Practical Live Sound training

Intro/Beginner 1 - 1.5 hours, $90 - $120

Focus:
1. Basics, foundation, and confidence with live sound.
2. Understanding signal flow, EQ, and gain structure.
3. Console overview (analog & digital).
4. Simple setup and teardown of PA.
5. Basic monitoring, mics, and instrument inputs.

Hands-on, real-world experience 1.5 - 2+ hours, $150 - $180

Focus:
1. Full setup of PA for small gigs or festivals.
2. Running soundchecks and mixing live bands.
3. Troubleshooting common live sound problems.
4. Real-time guidance during live performance.
5. Workflow, timing, and stage etiquette.
